
Snowga – Snow Yoga
Gentle Outdoor Yoga in the snow or on ice of Lake Saimaa. The lesson is suitable for beginners and does not require any prior experience in yoga.
In this yoga class we’ll practice gentle movements, but when we have lot’s of soft snow around, it’s great way to practice e.g. head stands. In this relaxing outdoor lesson you can focus also in the fresh outdoor air and calming lake sceneries.
Warm flexible clothes and woolen socks are suitable outfits to train in.
The lessons will be held in my Saimaa Shala or in your own spot. Lessons available also in winter yoga retreats and in my Saimaa Shala, in Rantasalmi, or on request in your own spot.

Outdoor Aerial
Gentle Outdoor Aerial Yoga is suitable for beginners and does not require any prior experience in yoga.
In this yoga class we’ll practice movements to build strength and increase agility. Sessions maintain a peaceful, gentle rhythm. Relaxing Outdoor Aerial lesson focuses on developing body control in the fresh outdoor air and lake sceneries.
Leggings, tights or comfortable yoga pants with a t-shirt or long-sleeved shirt are suitable outfits to train in. You’ll be most comfortable doing yoga without your jewelry or excessive makeup or perfume.
The lessons will be held in my Saimaa Shala.

Sup Yoga
Sup Yoga is a great way to get fit, surrounded by the pristine waters of Lake Saimaa. It also serves as an effective way to enhance muscles strength and coordination, as well as balance and agility. Our lesson will depend on the prevailing weather conditions and the experience of the participants in stand up paddling. Please note that everybody must know how to swim to take part in this activity. Why not try out something completely new and different – a challenge for your whole body!

Island Yoga in the middle of Lake Saimaa
Take a boat trip to the Saimaa archipelago and do yoga on the beautiful rocks in one of the thousand of island of Lake Saimaa. In the fall we get to admire the wonderful autumn colors, in the spring we might see an endangered Saimaa ringed seal and in the summer we enjoy the warm rays of the sun. We set off from the scenery of Olavinlinna castle, from the pier of Lossiranta Lodge, to the wonderful yoga rocks located about 15 minutes away. After a moment of yoga, we enjoy picnic lunch in the middle of the peaceful lake nature. On the island, we calm down and gather energy with gentle Vinyasa yoga, or when the body and mind need rest, we choose Yin yoga. The trip is carried out in cooperation with Vision Saimaa. Vinyasa Yoga
During our Vinyasa Yoga session we will move gently from one asana to another, following the rhythm of our breathing to attain a state of total relaxation, which will enable strengthening of the whole body. A Vinyasa session is both soft and dynamic; which makes it appealing to beginners and those more advanced alike. An invigorating Vinyasa Yoga class will help you connect body and mind, calm the nervous system and relieve stress.

Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is calm yoga style and you stay in the asanas (positions) longer than usual, on average 3-5 minutes. Yin yoga gives you the opportunity to calm down, both mentally and physically. Blocks, pillows/bolsters, blankets and a yoga belt can be used as help in Yin yoga, which enable yogis of all levels to participate in the class.

Aerial Yoga
Gentle Aerial Yoga is suitable for beginners and does not require any prior experience in yoga.
In this yoga class we’ll practice basic movements to build strength and increase agility. Sessions maintain a peaceful, gentle rhythm. Relaxing Aerial Yoga focuses on developing body control. Some of the exercises are performed within special silk hammocks, suspended from the ceiling. Aerial Yoga strengthens the abdominal muscles, helping you develop body control. It also assists in relieving muscle tenseness in the back and shoulder area.
Leggings, tights or comfortable yoga pants with a t-shirt or long-sleeved shirt are suitable outfits to train in. You’ll be most comfortable doing yoga without your jewelry or excessive makeup or perfume.

Yoga Cruise
Join to our summer Yoga Cruise in the archipelago of Savonlinna. The duration of the cruise is one hour. On the morning Vinyasa Yoga lesson we will move gently from one asana to another, following the rhythm of our breathing and in the evening lessons we calm ourselves with a relaxing Yin Yoga. You can just focus on your own practice in the middle of lake nature.

What should I wear and bring along with me?
For all of our yoga lessons we suggest you wear yoga or other comfortable pants. In the case of Sup Yoga we recommend you take an extra change of clothes along with you – just in case. Please leave all your jewelry and excessive perfumes behind. The price of the lessons includes all the gear required.
